Non-Commercial Agency is a project which conceptually re-examines the content of the information that newspapers offer to the public on a daily basis.
The project consists of two separate &newspapers*, designed and printed by the artist, as interpretations of two different kinds of information published on the same day within the Metro newspaper in London.
The magenta coloured newspapers, addresses the amount of news coverage of negative events that were reported on that particular day. This is achieved through a process of censorship, where all other information except for the &bad* news, is physically deleted.
The black coloured newspapers, looks at the issue of the commercialisation of newspapers by including only the advertisements published in Metro on that particular day. All the publicity images are blacked out in order to emphasise the amount of space occupied by commercial promotion.
